The APEC Architect Project

The APEC Architect Central Council was formed in 2005.

Australia has entered into bilateral agreements with both Japan and Chinese Taipei for the reciprocal recognition of architects with the view to facilitate the mobility of architects in the provision of architectural services.

Proposed Agreement with Hong Kong China

The Hong Kong Institute of Architects and the Architects Accreditation Council of Australia are currently developing an agreement regarding the mutual recognition of qualifications in architecture. This is anticipated to be the first stage of a two stage process aimed at developing a bilateral agreement for the mutual recognition of the registered architects.
